The West Bay Club sits on a gorgeous stretch of Grace Bay Beach, and is within easy excess to many restaurants and bars. We are so sad to have woken up in New York this morning. The location of our room was perfect for us with 2 small children giving us easy access to the beach and the ground floor safety that we desired. Renee and Cathy at the front desk were beyond hospitable and took care of our every need. It seemed as if they lived at that desk as I never saw otherwise. The beach is beautiful and the staff on the beach were great bringing us towels, water and watermelon, pitching umbrellas into the sand and offering the use of children's sand toys, 2 kayaks and snorkel gear. Everyone was so wonderful. The breakfast group was so helpful and always ready to help us move chairs, put tables together, etc. I loved my daily cappacino's until I finally tasted your "regular" coffee and it was so outstanding, I didn't feel the need for the cappacino's anymore! I cannot think of a single thing I would change for the entire week ...We have vowed to return and hopefully reserve the same 3 bedroom penthouse we stayed in this time. None of us had been to Turks and Caicos before and we loved the snorkling and the large variety of wonderful restaurants including the Atlantic Cafe. We are back home in 19 degree weather and 8" of snow in Kentucky so the many pictures we took from the balcony of 506 and around the pool are sustaining us. Breakfast was a little confusing the first couple of days since we thought we could order a hot item off the menu as part of the European breakfast, but the staff explained and we understood we could order some eggs to go with the continental buffet. Besides enjoying the beautiful beach or relaxing in our spacious oceanfront suite, we enjoyed a friendly tennis match at a court just a few minutes drive away from the resort. An amazing golf course is available nearby as well.
