Our stay at the West Bay Club in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos is a fitting opportunity for it! It is an outstanding vacation spot that’s not only in a pretty island setting, but includes outgoing, friendly staff, a quiet backdrop and very tasty food!
My girlfriend & I enjoyed ourselves so much we ended up extending our stay to seven nights, which is worthwhile as there are various events over the course of a full week worth attending – a manager’s cocktail hour on Tuesday, a delicious beach buffet on Friday and a local fish fry/concert next door on Thursday.
We stayed in a one-bedroom studio and were surprised at the size of the room, which included a washer/dryer, a pull out futon sofa and a king size bed with direct access to the pool via a separate balcony door. The maid staff is attentive and took care of all the basics for us. Whilst the ocean side suites looked great and potentially worth the extra $ for the upgrade, we were more than happy with the studio we had.
The Food is nothing short of delicious & zesty at the hotel. I’m normally a little cautious eating hotel/resort food and often find that meals are best at local restaurants/food spots, but this was not the case at West Bay.
Joseph, the head chef, who is not only a very friendly guy and happy to surprise us with a few of his own fruity or chocolate infused rum mixers cooked up the best island food I’ve ever had. Pork Ribs, Lobster Tail , Local Fish, Island Mac & Cheese, Fish Burgers, Conch Salad, Chilled Coconut Soup, Goat & Peas and my favorite the Lunchtime Thai Chicken Glass Noodle Salad (this one is phenomenal and is tasty to mix in with the Prawn Quesadillas).
Other worthwhile spots to eat next to the hotel are Somewhere (Mexican Style Beach Bar), The Beach Club (A nice dinner spot for fish lovers) and of course the Fish Fry.
At the hotel itself, the pool area and beach are both very relaxing and attended by staff to make it a good experience. On the beach, there are options for catamarans, kayaking, snorkeling and paddle boarding with William there to assist you. I’m an avid kayaker and was disappointed when for two out of the four days I wanted to Kayak in Grace Bay I was told that it was too windy, however that’s just mother nature!
A special thanks to Wellington, who was attentive and looked after our needs, like organizing an eco kayaking tour for us and setting us up with some of his neat souvenirs that he hand makes and sells at the Fish Fry. Also, a special thanks to Sonny, Josue, Norman, Tristan and Shaq around the pool bar for the fun memories and drinks!
After walking around a couple of the other hotels, I can firmly say I was glad to have picked West Bay Club & we will definitely be returning!

We really enjoyed our stay at West Bay Club. With only 50 rooms, it was not overly crowded and perfect for a romantic getaway. Be sure you ask for an ocean room suite!!! They are amazing. The continental breakfast that is included exceeded expectations. The manager at the beach, Charles, is definitely in charge! He and his staff do a great job of ensuring you have everything you need and the free water equipment is a bonus. We also really appreciated Wellington’s help in securing reservations and transportation outside of the resort. West Bay Club will certainly be at the top of our list when we return to T&C.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this resort! The staff really made the vacation special, although at times certain people were a little pushy. The accommodations were lovely, aside from the kitchen counter tops which were not in keeping with the rest of the suite. Granite counter tops would have been the perfect touch. The rooms were impeccably cleaned. Gladys, Louisette, Marie, and all the other housekeeping staff worked very hard to ensure that the rooms were clean and comfortable. The balcony views both to the pool and to the beach were phenomenal. The water sports are fun, but the resort lacks a rescue motor boat, which is really important to have. The water sports staff, including Charles, Sean, and Jeffrey, were very helpful. I could only wish that there were tennis courts on the property. The free wifi was also strong throughout the resort. Would definitely return!

Wow. What a great trip we just had. Just as the reviews suggested, West Bay Club treated us to everything we were looking for – high quality, low key resort, removed but short distance from other restaurants and festivities. We weren’t looking for discos, exercise classes, or Disney on Ice. We just wanted to relax in a fantastic resort, and that’s exactly what we got.
The food was great, though breakfast could use a little more variety since it’s the same every day. The last night we ate at BBQ on the beach, and the food, service and bonfire made for a special evening.
Across the board, the service (and I mean everyone we met) was genuine, friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We stayed here as a family in a four bedroom villa oceanfront and this unit worked out great for our family. There was a large terrace overlooking the ocean and beach, spacious living room , dining area and well equipped kitchen plus four bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths and a media room with a sleeper sofa.
Located right on the beach with nice beach chairs, lounges, umbrella’s and several beach toys like paddle boards and Hobicats. Nice pool with several different seating areas surrounding the pool.
There is a breakfast buffet in the morning that has a nice variety of hot and cold breakfast foods, we were surprised on the variety and quality for a buffet.
The best feature of the West Bay Club is definitely the staff. Everyone we met there was helpful, friendly and did everything possible to make your stay enjoyable.

Words cannot describe our experience at the West Bay Club. The rooms were remarkable, pool was great, view was picture perfect. The staff makes an effort to make it easier with kids. Lisa, kids camp, went beyond her call of duty. She felt like a part of our family by the time we left. She deserves some recognition for her services!! Cadet, server, was amazing and after two mornings, our kids started looking for him and calling him by name. Stephen, food and drinks, went above and beyond by helping us get a private dinner for 13 people. Every person we encountered who worked for West Bay was friendly and would go out of their way. We were hesitant about taking our littlest, 2 years old, and we would have regretted it. We’ve stayed at so many exquisite resorts and this is by far the best in customer service. We miss everyone and hope to see you all again. If I had to choose two people who deserve to be recognized amongst their peers, I would choose Lisa and Cadet..such a pleasure to have met you! Thanks for all you did and all your hard work, you truly set the bar!

Went back to the West Bay Club for the second time in one year. And it was as good as the first time. This time, the beginning of December – during the low season – when the beach and the property are very empty – felt like we had the resort to ourselves. The staff welcomed us back as if we were family. I can’t say enough good things. Maria made diet restricted hubby happy! Charles, Jeffrey (yes yes, no stress), Steve, Tristan, Wildy, JB (Jobel – special thx! – flex’n’), Junior, Sean, William, Shenika, and the spa staff — ALL so accommodating! All such nice people! Thx Wellington for coming out to take our sunset photo! Only negative things – our room – 404 – which I LOVE – could use a new bed and the shower had an issue that caused us to change on the last day . . . Other than that – all is superb! I consider this place a home away from home – and that is how we are greeted and treated. Can’t wait to go back again! I hope to see you soon WBC!

First time to Turks and Caicos. Property was recommended by travel agent so I had really high expectations going in. These expectations were definitely met!
The property is located on Grace Bay. It’s away from most of the developed area of Grace Bay which gives it a nice secluded feel. But still easy to get to restaurants and bars.
When you arrive you can see that the physical facility is immaculate. The public areas are spotless. The deluxe two bedroom room we stayed was like new. The view of both the pool and beach from the room was from a postcard picture.
The beach was gorgeous white sand. The water was crystal clear blue. Free use of sailboats, windsurfers, paddle boards was wonderful.
Most importantly the staff was great. They were by far the friendliest staff I’ve ever come across in all my travels. Special shout outs to Jeffrey, Charles, Wellington, Rose. Also everyone at the front desk and restaurant. And can’t forget the head chef and spa lady (unfortunately can’t remember their names) who put on a special alcohol tasting event.
All in all I would go back to West Bay Club tomorrow if I could!

We have been to the West Bay Club twice and are heading back for a third time this summer! You cannot find more beautiful beaches and crystal clear water, but that doesn’t compare to the treatment we receive from the West Bay Club staff. If you are looking for a completely laid back vacation with exquisite beaches and excellent service, you will not be disappointed. Can’t wait until June!
