
TCI Kite Flying competition is fun for all ages
Depending on wind and weather, this schedule is flexible.
10 a.m. – Kite Registration begins
12 noon – Registration Ends
1 p.m. – Kite Flying Competition Begins
2 p.m. – Competition is completed
3 p.m. – Results & Awards Ceremony Begins
Activities include:
Easter Egg Hunt, Face Painting and Balloon art for the kids, clowns, island ripsaw music, Maypole platting, horse race, Domino and Volleyball Tournament and lots to eat and drink on sale by various non profit service clubs such as Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, National Trust.
The categories kites will be judged on are:
* The Smallest Kite
* The Largest Kite
* Most Artistic Kite
* Best National Pride Kite
* Best Traditional Kite
