When we went on vacation, we hadn’t initially intended to adopt a puppy but shortly after landing and seeing many of the Potcake brochures and their sweet little faces, we definitely had to visit the TSPCA office.

Once we were there, we were taken by the volunteer work that Susan and the team were doing on behalf of these helpless animals. The minute we saw Lily and her little sister, we couldn’t help but fall in love instantly and wanted to take both!!! Her sister Daisy had a home!! And our decision was immediately made to take Lily! It was so easy from beginning to end with Susan’s support and assistance. She even met us at the airport with Lily – doggie passport, shots and all. Lily was sound asleep the whole way home!

She has adjusted very well to life in the big city. And we swear that when she looks at us she is very thankful that she has a loving home! Most people come home from vacation with traditional souveniers like a T-Shirt or magnet, but Lily was the best souvenir we could have ever hoped for.

We will definitely be back to Turks and maybe next time find another playmate for Lily and her new brother LB.
