Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Reginald Pearson!

On July 9th 2011 Christina and Reggie exchanged vows at The West Bay Club in the presence of family and friends.

Over 30 guests from Europe, US and TCI participate in the celebration.  The start up of the festivities was marked by a welcome cocktail party, followed next day by a family private dinner. On Friday the wedding guests enjoyed a fishing trip with Captain Shawn from Silver Deep and in the evening, the bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner beach luau. On the menu; traditional roasted pig, fish, plenty drinks, music and a bone fire to light the night away.

The wedding day started with Spa treatments by Spa Tropique, while The West Bay Club wedding planning team decorated the beach and reception site with white and fuchsia bougainvillea- traditional local foliage. Christine at My Paradise Photography captured the beautiful wedding images.

Christina’s bridal party included her younger sister and the groom’s two daughters. The bride’s father walked her down the sandy aisle on a love song preselected by the bride and the groom. The beach ceremony was very romantic and followed by champagne toast and appetizers served on The West Bay Club lawn.

After a short intermission the wedding guests assembled by the pool site where the reception followed. Atlantic Bar and Grill chefs delighted the guest with the signature conk in the blanket, tuna and curry chicken.

Entertainment till midnight was provided by Cliff Sampas, DJ dance music that suited all the partygoers.

The beautifully decorated wedding cake made by Fresh Bakery was outstanding and delicious.

On Sunday, rest and relaxation on the beach, followed by a romantic sunset cruise on Atabeyra an old rum runner schooner.

Mr and Mrs Reginald Pearson best wishes for a long and happy life together!

On January 24th at 4:45 pm a small group of close friends attended the wedding of Marie Claude Bourgie and Timothy Browning.  The celebration was held on the beach with a circle of friends gathered around to watch Pastor Colbey officiate their vows.  Although it was quite windy on Grace Bay, we made the best of it and used every possible minute of gorgeous light to capture their wedding day so it can be shared with family and friends back home. After the “romantic shoot”  we moved to the pool area for the reception and the Bride and Groom cut their cake, courtesy of Fresh bakery.  Thanks to Katrina York and the staff at the West Bay club a wonderful time was had by all. Congratulations to you both!

They have two friends living right here on Providenciales and the only thing they wanted for their wedding was getting married privately on a beach. Vicky and Martin told hardly anybody that they were getting married so it was all a big surprise.

The messages and photos were sent right after they said YES to their families and friends. I still can’t believe that we got such great weather, it was raining a lot the day before and Plan B and Plan C were already in the making. I told Vicky and Martin that in all the years I have been taking photographs I never had to move a wedding inside yet and certainly am not planning to. We are very fortunate here that we are so flexible in working around weather if we really have to.Their day was just perfect and so relaxed, after the photos everybody was just having some drinks on the beach and the West Bay Club had a table set up beautifully right on the beach for dinner with tiki torches all around.

Vicky and Martin I wish you all the happiness and thank you for letting me share your special day with you.

Dinah & Jonathan’s Wedding at West Bay Club

On Friday I finally met Dinah and Jonathan at The West Bay Club. We had been in touch for a few months before the wedding, getting to know each other, Dinah would send me emails of photos that she might like to try or photos from a blog that she really liked and hoped that I could capture, and of course any input is always welcome, it’s YOUR day!  I love when Brides let me know specific photos they like, it helps me figure out who they are….. romantic, fun and energetic, traditional, sentimental or all of the above.  Dinah had also let me know that Jonathan had designed a pair of shoes for them using the wedding colors, fuchsia and green and could I make sure that I got a photo of them? Of course, if a groom is going to add his personal touch to the wedding, I will make sure to capture it.  Congratulations once again Dinah and Jonathan, all the best!
