8Mbps highspeed internet only at The West Bay Club resort
In suite internet and complimentary wireless are common amenities that most modern resorts offer. However the download speed separates the modern from the ultra modern.
The West Bay Club recently upgraded to 8Mbps broadband and it became the only resort in Turks and Caicos to benefit of such fast service. 8Mbps Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) connections offer the user a faster, more reliable broadband connection. Using new technology, the service will automatically provide an incredible 160 times faster than a standard dial-up connection and up to 4x faster than 2Mb most common on the island!
The main benefit of a faster broadband is the ability of the connection to maintain greater quality and reliability when running multiple tasks simultaneously such as music and video-streaming, large file download, video-conferencing or sending large email attachments.
‘Thanks to our friends at Lime, the Caribbean’s largest telecommunications company, The West Bay Club is able to offer this superior service to our guests that expect high speed communication and fast download time’ said Dane Underwood managing Director of The West Bay Club.

My husband I stayed at your absolutely amazing hotel for our honeymoon in October. It\’s almost impossible to put into words how absolutely beautiful everything was. The room was immaculate with modern amenities, the staff was so accomodating and friendly and the pool and grounds were breathtaking. We were so sad when our week came to an end. We hope to return very soon!! Thanks for making our honeymoon so very special!

We were so pleasantly surprised by the luxurious accomodations that we said we\’d be happy to hang out in the condominium even if it rained everyday. Everything about the stay was exceptional and we recommended it to relatives who visited shortly after we did and they had the very same experience. Easy to get to and sand that feels like powder.

We absolutely loved our stay at your resort! The 2 bedroom luxury condo was so perfect for our family. All the amenities are fabulous. We will definitely be returning and are telling our friends, one group which may book book for April after our rave reviews to them. The staff were so friendly and accomodating and the rooms immaculate.

THOUROUGHLY ENJOYED MY FIRST VISIT IN JANUARY, AND HAVE ALREADY BOOKED FOR NEXT JANUARY. THE UNIT WAS TERRIFIC AND THE STAFF WAS GREAT. YOU HAVE A GREAT RESORT. I WILL RECOMMEND THAT MY FRIENDS COME.

The West Bay Club was perfect for our family. We have 4 young children and felt so welcomed by all your staff. You set us up with fabulous babysitters, the breakfasts were lovely and the beach was incredible. The rooms are just as beautiful in person.Compared to other resorts we visited on the island, The West Bay Club was very laid back and not at all pretentious. We can\’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful time on our recent vicit to West Bay Club. This was our 6th visit and we plan to return many times. Dane and Roxanna are the perfect hosts and they and the whole staff go out of their way to meet every request and assure you have a great vacation. the units are beautiful with full kitchens, comfortable furniture and a large ocean front deck. The gym and spa on site are convenient. the beach is the best and it\’s nice to be on this side of the island. The beaches are wider, the snorkelling is a five minute walk either way on the beach and the grocery store is close. We have been vacationing on Providenciales for 15 years and West Bay Club is the best new property there by far.

Lucky Anna Lisa enjoys being a Conch Judge
Anna-Lisa Kraft-Linder was the lucky winner of a recent sweepstakes West Bay Club sponsored, along with our friends at Caribbean Travel & Life Magazine and Turks and Caicos Reservations.
Anna-Lisa, from the Washington DC area, was picked from thousands of entrants to win a free trip to our sunny isles, stay at the luxurious West Bay Club, and be a judge in the world famous TCI Conch Festival, held every year during the last weekend in November.
From the looks of it she thoroughly enjoyed her role in helping to pick the 2010 winners of the hotly contested ‘conch-e-tition.’ Congratulations to Anna Lisa, and to all the winners of the 2010 Conch Festival.
“The only bad part was actually having to leave”
This comment by a recent guest is pretty typical of how people feel toward the end of their stay with us. We get great comments – and suggestions – from many of our guests and we love when they share them with us, and the rest of the world. Here’s the rest of what this couple had to say about their experience at West Bay Club:
We could not have chosen a better place. The view is to die for, the staff is very friendly and effective, the pool area is beautiful, the rooms are so cool and complete (we stayed in an ocean front and it rocks)… but what we loved the most was the location.
WBC is not in the middle of the big (crazy, crowded) resorts. So, you have your peace and quiet and, if you want to see some movement, it’s only a 15 minute walk on the beach to bump into the big (as in supersize me) families with pizza boxes on the beach, young guys drinking a beer and carrying two more on the other hand etc.
When we planned a TCI vacation, we were craving the desert island feeling and that’s exactly what we got out of WBC.
I just wouldn’t consider it the top of the top because it doesn’t have a cool restaurant like some of the fancier hotels. But, hah, I guess if it did it wouldn’t be so nice and calm, right? And you can always drive 5 minutes to the restaurants – and try a different one every night.
